Let me play catch up !!!

I know, I am a slacker. I should have oodles of time to update this blog. Time is not my problem, energy is. I have a small spurt of energy here at school and am avoiding grading papers. So here it goes............................


Jerry and the girls came out to spend the weekend 2 weeks ago. We ended up going hiking at Fall Creek Falls. It was a beautiful drive and beautiful area. We had fun playing in the creeks and hiking all day. Yes, I went AND hiked. I did fine and took breaks as I needed to. Here are some pics from our day of fun........

The next weekend was my baby shower, hosted by Anne and Arissa. They threw a Rockstar Shower. The food was tastey and the prizes rocked. Everyone had a great time and I got alot of much needed items for the baby. Here are some pictures from that day......................

This past weekend we stayed close to home again. Saturday we went to the Fountain City Duck Pond. The girls and Jerry caught crawdads and minnows and then we fished and battled the ducks trying to tangle our fishing lines.

As I said earlier, we stayed close to home. I have 3 weeks to go until my due date!!! The nursery is sort of done. I will post pictures as soon as I take some. I still have misc. items scattered on the bed in there. I guess I need to get on that. I have been blessed to have so many people that I know and don't know, help get us started. I don't know what I would do without these people.

I am going to the doctor once a week from now until delivery. And I won't lie, I am scared to death of it all............ giving birth and being a parent.

On a sad note, our family had a rough week last week, so if you can, send a little prayer our way.

I hope to have pics by the end of the week of the nursery. Just bear with me.
